My Vision

I believe our lives should be filled with inspiring and organic, handmade treasures. I’m happy when I’m making beautiful things and I want you to love them too!
I create small batch, coil built vessels which I design, make and fire in my Clunes home studio using local clays I dig, sieve, dry and age. I hand build, because I love the asymmetries and makers marks which make each piece unique.
Over the summer I had an overriding urge to sew my own clothes, so I ordered a beginner singer sewing machine from Spotlight on PayPal and taught myself how to sew. I love the process so much that I decided to expand my small creative business to include hand stitched, linen garments!
Contemporary, minimal, timeless treasures to wear, personalise your home, engage the senses and invest the ordinary moments in your day with belonging.

Wabi Sabi is a Japanese aesthetic and philosophical concept that celebrates the beauty of imperfection, impermanence and simplicity. It places value on the natural, aging and weathered quality of objects and embraces the idea that nothing is ever truly permanent or perfect. Wabi Sabi has deep roots in Zen Buddhism, emphasising mindfulness and acceptance of the present moment.
The Wabi Sabi way aligns with sustainable practices by favouring items which age gracefully, reducing the need for constant consumption and disposal. It reminds me to live harmoniously and respectfully with the natural world. It’s focus on minimalism and unadorned beauty supports me in my search for a simpler and more meaningful existence.
My slow fashion garments are carefully crafted from the finest linens I’ve been able to find, using vintage stitching to increase their durability. By crafting work to the highest possible standard that I’m able to, I’m hoping to offer clothes you create an attachment to and want to keep in your wardrobe for a longer period of time than a factory manufactured item which doesn’t wear well and conforms to seasonal, passing fashion.
